I properly discarded of old paints, reorganized the shelves, and cleaned out the sink and drains.
organizing prop storage
I tossed the broken and donated the unnecessary and surplus props. I labeled each section for easier pulling and restocking.
packing props for transport and storage
I prepared a strike process document, which included transporting all props to the rehearsal room to be packed. I wrapped and secured all props in their boxes, and wrote the inventory on the label outside of the box. I then created a document broken down by box, as well as a document broken down by prop, to make unpacking and locating simple. I also used this time to photograph each prop and created an online prop reference bible to pair with the packing documents.
